Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant and holds CPA licenses in California and Oregon. He attended Valparaiso University in Indiana where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1972. His career began as an accountant and auditor for Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young) in Portland, Oregon. He and his wife, Tina, relocated to the Coachella Valley, and in 1977 Dennis became the owner and president of Dennis Godecke Accountant, Inc. In 1997, the firm became Godecke Clark.

Dennis has over 30 years of experience in all areas of accounting and tax return preparation; he is particularly well-versed in the agricultural, construction and real estate industries. He has a thorough understanding of possible tax and financial issues and provides wealth management advice for individuals with complex tax reporting needs. His ability to identify potential tax and financial issues and then develop innovative solutions has made him a valuable resource for many successful local businesses.

In addition to his professional activities, Dennis has been active in the community as a past Chairman of the Living Desert Board of Trustees and former Chairman of the Building Committee of the Family YMCA.



Dan joined Godecke Clark in 1993 as a Staff Accountant and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1995. He attended the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, obtaining his Bachelor’s degree. He spent 20 years in the automobile industry and then as a financial consultant for Prudential Securities prior to pursuing a career as a CPA.

His varied background gives a powerful base of experience when it comes to financial issues, securities, and financial and tax planning. He has expertise in the areas of inheritance and trust matters and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He works with clients to identify and reach their tax, financial, and estate planning goals.

Dan also holds a license as a Registered Investment Advisor. In addition, he is a member of the FINRA Board of Arbitrators, which is a volunteer group of professionals who arbitrate disputes between individuals and brokerage firms. Due to his experience and expertise, he is often selected to arbitrate cases involving securities and brokerage matters that have serious tax consequences.



Vera graduated from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic with a Master’s degree in Business and Accounting. Vera joined Godecke Clark in 2006 and continued to work toward earning her Certified Public Accountant license, which she obtained in 2009.

Vera works closely with clients in a broad range of industries and services, including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, real estate, and not-for-profit organizations. Vera has a special expertise in agricultural accounting. Her experience in multiple sectors including hay, dates, citrus, and feed lots have allowed her to develop an awareness and knowledge of the many factors involved in the agricultural industry.

Vera uses her experience and technical knowledge to enhance her clients’ businesses. Her areas of expertise include auditing, financial statement engagements, tax planning, international tax issues, and resolution of complex tax matters, and business consulting. Vera enjoys working with her clients to help them minimize their tax liability through sound tax planning and research. Helping clients navigate through a complex business environment in a way they can understand and that works for them is a great source of pride for her.



Stephanie began her career in the workforce as a wild land firefighter for CALFIRE in Southern California followed by three years in the hospitality industry. She graduated from California State University San Bernardino in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She was hired by Godecke Clark in 2009 and earned CPA status in 2013. Her areas of expertise include audit and financial statement engagements, personal and business tax planning, payroll tax, sales tax, fuel tax, and business strategic planning.

Stephanie’s strength comes from having begun her accounting career as a bookkeeper. She has the ability to review a set of books and immediately identify what is out-of-balance and knows how to provide resolutions to issues. This also gives her a strong natural understanding of the needs of her clients and their businesses. She enjoys working closely with her clients to solve bookkeeping, reporting and personnel challenges.

Stephanie grew up in the Imperial Valley and settled in the Coachella Valley in 2007. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.



Christina joined Godecke Clark in 1987 and serves as a Professional Fiduciary, Notary Public, and the Firm Administrator. Christina received an associates in Business Management from El Camino College in 1983, became a certified Notary Public in 1987 and became a certified Professional Fiduciary (California License #PF-960) and National Certified Guardian (NCG) in January of 2017.

Christina has a wealth of experience working with trusts, estates, and additional fiduciary services. As a Professional Fiduciary, her own experience and the experience and support of the entire Godecke Clark team ensure the highest quality of service is consistently available and administered.

At Godecke Clark, Christina has worked with our team to guarantee that every client’s needs are met promptly and with the utmost care. She is our billing and accounts receivable specialist and also works with bookkeeping, 1099’s, and provides bill-pay services for individuals. Internally, Christina handles human resources, 401(k) management, and various office and building management functions.
