The Coachella Valley Enterprise Zone (E-Zone) is comprised of over 50 square miles, that include the areas of Thousand Palms, Indio, Coachella and Thermal. It was designated by the State of California to encourage business growth and job creation.

The five major financial incentives related to the Enterprise Zone include:

• Employer Hiring Credit
• Sales and Use Tax Credit
• Business Expense Deduction
• Net Operating Loss Carryover
• Net Interest Deduction for Lenders
